About Me

I graduated from the University of Wisconsin in May 2022 with a degree in Civil & Environmental Engineering. In July 2022, I moved to Austin, Texas to begin a PhD program in glaciology under the mentorship of Dr. Ginny Catania. Check out what our lab group is up to here.

Research Interests

As a first-year PhD student, my research direction is still growing and evolving. I am primarily working with remote sensing data to describe the recent history (1985-present) and an adjoint model to project near-future predictions of the Greenland Ice Sheet. I am currently working on a few related projects. You can check out my Research to learn more about what I am doing at the moment and the direction I aim to take my research over the course of my PhD.

When I'm not working...

Outside of my research, most days you can find me with my dog, Moose, at the park or in training. When I'm not training my own dog, I am often assisting training classes.

I also am an avid camper, hiker, and backpacker; a connoisseur of national parks and forests; and a lover of wandering slowly through nature. I enjoy lifting heavy objects, cheering for any Wisconsin sports team, seeking the best coffee or beer in town, and appreciating any form of art.
